If you were to walk through the rose garden, pick off a petal and smell it, you would be breathing in essential oils.

Rose Harvester, Taif, Saudi Arabia
Essential oils are the oils which give a plant its aroma and flavor. They circulate through the stems, leaves, flowers and roots of a plant. For example, essential oils are found in the skin of an orange, in the leaves of a peppermint plant and in the flowers and stems of lavender.
Besides smelling good, essential oils have many benefits. Essential oils have been reported to purify the air, lift your mood and release emotions, calm the spirit and promote positive energy, oxygenate the cells, raise the electromagnetic (EM) frequency of the body to improve health, flavor foods, enhance cosmetics, clean fruits and vegetables, support the body’s systems (respiratory, digestive, immune, etc.), offer relief for emotional concerns (anger, apathy, anxiety, sadness), and address other health concerns as well.
