Herbal Education Programs

For Children, Age 8 and above:

Herbal Educator offers a complete 12-month course for children leading to a Young Master Herbalist certification.

Herbal Exploration: A Journey of Discovery for the Young Herbalist consists of twelve lessons, one for each month of the year, in which children explore an herb, gardening, stories from history, and nutrition matters.  Parents / guardians / or other interested parties serve as herbal guides to help children complete exercises.  No previous herbal knowledge or experience is required. Herbal Guides will be able to learn right along side the children in an exciting learning adventure.

Lesson Topics:

  1. the largest herb in the world,
  2. chamomile,
  3. arugula,
  4. basil,
  5. mint,
  6. chives,
  7. lavender,
  8. an herb of choice,
  9. dandelion,
  10. garlic,
  11. parsley, and
  12. blue agave.

FEBRUARY

February 12, 2010 Healing Oils of Ancient Scripture, 7-9 p.m., Sterling, Virginia.  (NCBTMB credits-2)

February 13, 2010 Chemistry of Essential Oils, 9-12 noon; 1:30-4:30 p.m., Sterling, Virginia (NCBTMB credits – 6)

MARCH

March 5-7, 2010, CARE Intensive, Richmond, Virginia.  A CARE Intensive includes:  Applied Vitaflex, Raindrop I, Raindrop II, Chemistry of Essential Oils, Healing Oils of Ancient Scripture, and Emotional Release with Essential Oils. 

APRIL

April 15, 2010, Emotional Release with Essential Oils, 1-6 p.m., Sterling, VA

MAY

May 6-7, and 13, 2010, CARE Intensive, Budaiya, Bahrain. A CARE Intensive includes:  Applied Vitaflex, Raindrop I, Raindrop II, Chemistry of Essential Oils, Healing Oils of Ancient Scripture, and Emotional Release with Essential Oils.
